Privacy Policy

Overview

CallPilot (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a personal call-planning assistant that helps you organize contacts, plan call reminders, and schedule short voice messages. CallPilot is designed as a local-first app: your data stays on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information is used and how.

Information we collect

• Contacts you choose to import or manage in the app (with your permission), used only to help you plan and place calls.
• Call plans, groups, settings, and schedules you create in the app.
• Voice recordings you create (up to 25 seconds), stored on your device for guided message workflows.
• Device permissions data such as notification and microphone access when you grant them — used only for those features.

CallPilot does not require an account, does not use CallPilot cloud servers for sync, and does not sell personal data.

How we use information

• To provide app features such as reminders, dialing helpers, contact groups, and voice-message workflows.
• To schedule local notifications and restore reminders after device restart when permitted.
• To keep the app reliable and secure on your device.

Sharing

• We do not operate a CallPilot backend that receives your contacts, plans, or recordings.
• When you place a call, your device’s phone or dialer app handles the call according to your system settings.
• We may disclose information if required by law if we ever receive a valid legal request related to the service website or store listing.

Permissions

• Contacts – optional; to import and manage people you want to call.
• Microphone – optional; only when you record a short voice message.
• Notifications / alarms – optional; for call and voice-message reminders.
• Phone / dialer – to open the dialer or place a call when you choose.

Denying a permission does not crash the app; related features show guidance instead.

Data retention

Your CallPilot data remains on your device until you delete it from the app or uninstall the app. Uninstalling CallPilot removes locally stored app data according to your operating system’s normal behavior.

Children

CallPilot is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through our contact channels, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
